1. Scope: this website and our products

These Terms apply only to this company website and its content. That includes the information about our studio and services, and the Sun Chaser game on the home page.

Our apps and games run on their own websites, platforms or app stores, and have their own terms of use and privacy policies. For example, Pace's terms are at paceinterval.com/terms-and-conditions. When you use one of those products, its own terms apply. If they conflict with these Terms, the product's terms win for your use of that product.

2. Intellectual property

Lizards of the Rock or its licensors own all content on this website. That includes text, graphics, the Lizards of the Rock name and logo, artwork, code and the Sun Chaser game.

You may view the website and play the game for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any part of the website without our prior written permission.

3. Acceptable use

When using this website you agree not to:

• interfere with, damage or overload the website or the servers that host it;
• try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems;
• scrape, crawl or extract content or data by automated means without our permission;
• use the website for anything unlawful, fraudulent or malicious, including sending malware or spam.

4. The game and scores

Sun Chaser on this website is just for fun. Scores have no monetary value, can't be exchanged for anything, and don't earn any prize or reward.

Scores are saved only in your own browser. They may be lost if you clear your browser data, switch devices, or if we change the game. We may change, reset or remove the game at any time.

5. Third-party links

This website may link to other websites, including our own product sites and third-party services. We don't control third-party websites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and under their terms.

6. Disclaimer

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle any personal information collected through this website. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

This website uses basic analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It doesn't use cookies. By using the website you acknowledge this use, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If you have a problem, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out. If a dispute can't be resolved amicably, it will be decided by the competent courts of South Africa.

If you live outside South Africa, you keep any protections that the laws of your country give you and that can't be excluded.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
